I would just like to say a big thank you to all the delegates who attended my seminar in London on the 17th January and what a Convention it was! With over 133 speakers a fantastic trade fair and lots of catching up with friends it is one of the highlights of the photographic year.I have included an image taken of me demonstrating how to shoot a  wedding  and also some of the results of the shoot. I want to especially thank those of you who took the time to show your appreciation in emailing your kind comments and encouraging words some of which I have posted below. Good luck to you and hope to  see some  of your images in the near future.

Feedback from SWPP Seminar :

”Hi Louise

Just over a week since the SWPP, and I’m still reeling from everything I
saw, heard and learnt.
Yours was my final seminar on Sunday evening and it couldn’t have been a
better ending to the convention for me – it was a fantastic couple of
hours, and you’d obviously put a lot of thought into the content.  I
think it was fate/destiny (or something) that made me go as some of the
things you said rang so true for me. Many thanks again for a great seminar and all the best for a happy and
successful year ahead,
Warm regards,
Rachel ”

”Hi Louise it was a real pleasure to meet you at the SWPP convention I’m looking forward to seeing the photos on your blog. Your master class was so empowering & inspiring. I was really nervous about attending the convention but as you said “I felt the fear & did it any way!” For years I’ve held myself back & not taken any action due to a lot of the reasons you spoke about.  This year & I’ve got to take ACTION! I think your photography is amazing & your spirit & drive inspiring. . Thanks again, Jayne.”

”Dear Louise

Felt I had to email you to say thank you.  I attended your master class at the convention on Sunday and came out of it full of inspiration!  I have been interested in photography for a number of years and I mainly photograph weddings which I love with a passion.  After listening to you speak, I now feel I can take on the world (once I build up my confidence just a little bit more!).  You have given me the passion to push myself that little bit more.

Thank you

Regards

Ellen Purvis

This was my last wedding for 2009 but by no means the least. I had a wonderful couple to photograph, Amy and Mick. Mick being a keen amateur photographer really wanted images that were a bit different and possessed a creative and interesting feel so I pulled all the stops out for them. I really enjoyed the time we had shooting the wedding and even though the weather was pretty awful for most of the time we still managed a few images outside. The interior images were quite atmospheric and captured a warm feel despite the cold outside. Their friends & family were very friendly and welcoming which was lovely. Thanks for a great end to the year.

Had some fun teaching several 6th form students about photography. The day consisted of them showing prepared storyboards from their ideas for a shoot. Then we talked about lighting and posing . I demonstrated some photography with them and was teaching and encouraging them in their own methods of photography. Here is a shot I used to demonstrate how with a bit of hair fluffing and a jacket from the charity shop a fashion feel could be achieved.

A great idea for a birthday or christmas present is a family portrait and this was a superb idea by a young lady for her Mum as a present. She and her siblings planned the day to get some interesting photos as a suprise.I thought the idea of them holding a photo of themselves would be fun and also jumping in the air here are the results.
